Indian dance is a theatre of Imagination, Lighting helps create multiple realities in a single space. It transforms the space, the artistes and the storytelling by adding drama, perspective and heightened curiosity.
This workshop takes the participants on an illuminating path of lights, their role, usage, design and execution.

About Keerthi Kumar:
Keerthi is a sought-after Lighting Designer who works with several renowned dance companies, dancers, musicians and theatre groups across India and Singapore. His design works with STEM Dance Kampni, Punyah Dance Company, Narthaki.com, Omkar Arts Singapore and others have been critically acclaimed.
He has presented talks on Lighting & Multimedia Design at important art seminars.
Keerthi Kumar is a Kathak and Indian contemporary dance artiste. He is a Principal dancer and Head of Projects of STEM Dance Kampni and has performed and toured across India and over 18 countries extensively. He is also a Nattuvanar and a Padhant artiste.
He co-founded ARTMOS (artmosproductions.com) through which he creates original choreographic works for educational institutions and works with artistes to create specially curated events, fastidious production design and their mindful execution.
